The prestigious title and awards worth $10,000 US each await the winners in the Top Mechanics™ 2010 Mechanic of the Year competition.

All mechanics willing to try out their professional skills as well as knowledge gained from workshop experience, but moreover to contend for the title of the BEST will have their chance starting from the 2nd March 2010. On that day the first stage of this year's competition for the Mechanic of the Year begins. The whole event will last until the 30 June. Mechanics eager to take part must at first register by filling out an appropriate form. Each properly registered competitor will receive a special login and password to his own account. From the day of successful registration the member of the competition gathers points for tests. 4 tests are prepared to be solved – each for every month of the competition. Tests contain 30 questions worth 2 points each. After the tests will have been solved the copetitors will have the possibility to check their position in the rating.

Top fifty contestants, who collect the most points on their accounts – both for tests solved and the purchase made, go into the next round that is the competition's semi-final. Information of who qualified will be placed on Fota S.A. internet website. The contestants will be informed of their promotion by post mail.

Second and third stage will take place in the second half of July at exclusive hotels in Mazury. There are plenty of atractions waiting for the contestants among them: Great Mechanics Boat Race, moto boats race, firedance show and more. The semi-final will start out in the late afternoon on the first day of the stay. It will be a test of multiple choice for which's solution the contestants have a fixed period of time. 5 semi finalists who receive the best test results qualify to the final. The announcment will be given during the ceremonial dinner. Apart from the finalists announcement and prize distribution there are many other attractions expected.

All finalists receive the material awards founded by the organizers and sponsors of the competiotion. The Winner will become the owner of the main prize that is around 70 thousand PLN, including a brand New Fiat 500. Alltoogether the award pool amounts to $200,000 USD!
